I think it's a rock elm, correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Looks great!

Looks ALOT like the American Elms I see.... the bark MIGHT be different...And I can’t see “top leaf” (not sure if that would even matter) 🤣 I also have Rocks, Slipperys, and Cedar Elms around here... so my judgement MAY be skewed..... it COULD be a Rock Elm.. either way, you are WELL “within” it’s native range. (I believe)

From what I've seen, we have American, rock and slippery elms in Southern Quebec so it should be fine as far as the native range is concerned.
It looked a lot like my teacher's rock elm and she seemed to remember this to be a root cutting she made a while ago.
