The bigger ones were living on taproots that went way deep. I did the best I could to collect as much root as possible, but decided to chop most of the deep root off in favor of trying to grow roots from the upper parts of the crown in these candy container greenhouses. The two biggest ones went crispy pretty quick and probably won't make it, but I'll take what I can get.
