So I figured I would throw my new trees into the ring for this. This will not be the final number of trees but I am attempting a forest building style of reduction rather than addition.

There are a few clumps planted within the forest that might be split off to individual pots later on (if that's allowed) but for now this will be one submission.

All but 2 or 3 of the saplings on the table are in the pot as it currently stands. My goal is to make something akin to a stand of birch as it would be found in a wider forest, we will see how successful that will be.

Any comments or suggestions would be lovely and greatly appreciated.20818602-2F35-4946-BE85-0483751380A6.jpeg06BC5D9C-E846-4D26-A8E5-5231804666C3.jpeg

I haven’t encountered much paper birch in my bonsai research (but I’m relatively new!) — seems like it would make a beautiful forest planting. Good luck and interested in how it develops!
