Hi all,

Brought this tree a about a week ago for $8 NZD ($5 USD), thought it try have some fun with it since it had some small bends in it.
Tree was about 6 feet tall and its been cut back to about 2 feet, going for a literati style here.
In future I plan to do some carving and make more deadwood/Shari at the top to give some taper and age.

I see photo 053 as been the front, also the long brunch to the right I'm going to wire it down so it follows the trunk line more. also plan on bending the main trunk abit more in places where its to straight so it will look good from most angles.

For now I think its had enough torture and just hoping it lives.

@SpOoNzL are you a graffiti writer?

I can't help but think this tree was $5 cuz it's gonna die anyway.

Something about @Walter Pall doing a Maori Dance...actually, I could see that...

Anyway, I associate Norway with Walter and Walter with a climate that's anything BUT like something on NZ.

So, I'm gonna get a bunch of you'se together to talk about Native Trees.

Like the idea, but I think it needs to eventually be chopped lower - about where the long straight section starts.

Nice find for 5 bucks!
