Weather was good and the event seemed only about half as large. I did not sell this year and most of my collection is now down to a fairly reasonable size and mostly only the good stuff is left so I don't have a lot to sell anymore.
Currently I am not is a purchasing mood any longer as that just creates another problem. I did buy a pot, but that's not bonsai right?

Here's what you missed. You will notice Muranaka did bring over the little trident that I looked at while at the nursery.

Here are some more and lots of pots for sale. The small rectangle pot from Japan, grey with drippy purple glaze is a Koyo Jr.

Here are a couple maple bargains that escaped my grasp eventhough I was not buying.
This maple grove went for $120.00. The larger single maple went for $160.00.

Wow, nice!

While at my first bonsai show, the exhibition in kannapolis today , I noticed that everything was dramatically cheaper than the crap they sell online. I can't ever see buying anything online now.

I almost bought so much... But I contained myself.

Yes he did. I will be working at the nursery next weekend during the Ted Matson workshop. I will be wiring pines in the annex. That's where the good stuff is!
Thats George Muranaka in the top right of the second photo.

I thought I saw some on those tables! If you think of it... You could mention there is this guy in SC who'd like to own a few of his trees and has a Pay Pal account... :)

I would support this just about anywhere on the right coast. I also would be willing to pay a buyers fee to anyone that could attend next year and ship back to me. Let's say 20%, get just a few more people to join in, each east coaster spending say $500. Avg. and sombody could make $500 in an afternoon. That could buy a round trip ticket if someone from the east coast wanted to attend. Giga?
