I like this one, but you may need to change the foliage over.

Is this a Procumbens?

Yeah horizontalis I believe also.
So eventually grafting other foliage on? That sounds like a fun thing to learn. I've had some experience doing this on large trees in the ground but not much else.

It makes me think of those images of extremely ancient Sierra junipers with a ton of bleached dead wood and a thin live vein

It looks like there may already be a bunch of dead wood on the trunk. It would be awesome to clean that up and accentuate those live veins.

Yeah there's some gnarly stuff going on not sure why it won't let me post more photos right now probably a file limit or something attached to my user status. I got about 50 images lol. But 12 I think yall will appreciate. Thanks again for the encouragement and I can't wait to see what I can make of it.

There's a 10 photo limit per post. If you're having issues uploading try reducing the file size for quicker upload.

Resembles wild material. Usually plants at sold at non bonsai outlets don’t look old and torn up that much. Funny how bonsai people will pay extra for it but they sell it cheaper. I have some large material I am going to try grafting this late winter. Crossing my fingers!
