A beautifully unusual shohin from Japan

I found this pic a couple months back. Masterfully executed. It looks like there was a second descending trunk that was utilized for one side of the tree. I noticed that there seems to be just enough bark left to keep a couple of those branches alive.

Nice shohin that uses small things to make a grand illusion...The whole tree is covered with bark. Chinese quince has exfoliating bark that sheds its out layers in pieces, giving trunks a mottled look.

The fruit is probably glued on for the pic:) which apparently isn't uncommon for Chinese quince bonsai in a show....Can't remember the exact name for this style, but I think it's something like "moon through the branches" or something because the fruit is supposed to resemble the moon.
