Bought my first (somewhat more) progressed tree from @William N. Valavanis - a lovely boxwood. Diane said 20 years old, all container grown. I have a few years of experience with boxwood, and hope to take my time learning to work with this one. She recommended a slip pot for winter and full repot in spring.
Plan is into a 4-5 inch deep training pot with a bit of room to grow in spring, let grow all of 2021 and observe, and then begin pruning in 2022. Need to add an appealing apex... Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Valavanis for the time spent on this one, the nebari is quite interesting. Not settled on a front.
