I saw this creeping up one of my dead ash trees and couldn't resist. I simply went around the trunk with a sawsall, put it in the pot and dared it to live. I saw one at the national that was quite nice and you can't beat the fall color.

Most mis-named plant species ever. Nothing "creeping" about them :)
I'll beg to differ there.:) They creep from my woods, across part of my lawn and then into the gravel driveway looking for the next victim. I just mowed so I can't get a good photo. But I'll come back in a week or two.

Yes, they do creep about everywhere here until they find a tree to climb.

For what it’s worth, these were creeping/racing all over my backyard in North Georgia, climbing up the posts to my deck and particularly loving the runoff from my bonsai garden… And they are all over the perimeter of my yard here in Michigan… And in some of the foundation plantings around my house. Love your little volunteer, ABCarve😊
