..and finally one of the many we just spruced up for the Branch Out fundraiser yesterday. Branch Out is being held on Sunday, but anyone can donate online if they desire to support museum.

Beautiful pictures! I don’t even remember seeing some of those trees on display… that’s what struck me about the collection as soon as I turned the corner—how expansive! Probably the largest display-only collection I’ve visited so far.

That Gingko in fall colors looks amazing and is that an Ume with pink flowers? Also have had a recent obsession with cedars…we went to Olympic on our trip and got to see some incredible specimen trees.

I wish I had more time—probably could have spent the whole day there. Unfortunately my kids found the gravel pathways about as entertaining as I did the trees. I spoke with a female volunteer there briefly who was so kind and patient (wish I could remember her name to shout her out). She had such a great knowledge of the trees on display and pointed out a few female-styled trees on exhibit including the Formosan juniper in the last picture—stunning!

It awesome you came down. Were blessed to be able to come down to work on these trees year around for years. This gives folks the advantage of taking images at interesting times throughout the year.

btw that pink flowering tree is a Plum - Toichi Domoto
