A Ficus Retusa South Florida Progression he

So I finally acquired a tree that I have been staring at for a while, the Ficus Retusa. I got it on a trip to Wigerts over on the gulf coast and brought it back with me to Miami. I think that maybe just maybe I finally have a tree I can call a bonsai, but my eye is still amateur. Here is the tree and what I've done with it. My goal is to keep it shohin sized, develop aerial roots, and thicken the branches without adding too much height, then eventually repot.

I like how the trunks connect but that small one would be nicer shorter than the big.

lol yea I bought four bonsai plus some pots, soil and wire. It's definitely a bonsai paradise and I will definitely be back.
