Our bonsai club Christmas meeting includes decorating real bonsai. Our group (table) won last year and the prize (100+ Dremel bits) was given to my daughter...who was in charge with the tree decoration.

Not a bonsai, but still neat. I found this on the coast of Maine this summer.

It's too cold for me to dig out any of my trees, but we do have a sparse 7 foot pine as part of our backyard landscaping. I found the biggest ornament I could find and a string of lights. It's our "Charlie Brown" tree.

Booger! That's a shame...with the family so talented...I can just imagine how amazing a tree it was. Still cool that she won though!

LOL, it was nice but not great.

It is not our tree and we were (or she was) given about 15 minutes to decorate it before the meeting started. It is more like a mad dash decorating...but fun!
