I am not aware of any A. palmatum specifically cultivated for disease resistance. Is there a specific disease you are concerned about? Or just general hardiness?

Either one would be interesting. Heard Shin Deshojo was more disease resistant than Deshojo but 1. that might just be a sales pitch and 2. Im guessing the wild type would still be hardier.
