8 months ago, I made this with this cuphea hyssopifolia:

Today, it looks like this:

It and some others are going to be part of a "park scene".
I just wanted to tell my fellow newbies, that this species grows rather fast and can be shaped as you want. I've used it also for tanukis and formal and informal upright with great results. Where I live it is most inexpensive (about 1$ each). So if you want fast results and experimenting this is a good choice.

I love the sense of whimsy. It is very creative without being too cutesy for me.
Looking forward to see how this one develops.
