Imperial Masterpiece
A few days ago I bought this Abies on eBay (I know, I know...........). I probably paid a bit too much but the seller did give me a decent price. It was purchased as a bonsai and maybe some day it will be one. I was particularly pleases because it is apparently from a cutting as no graft is anywhere discernible. The pot is much larger than the plant justified as a bonsai, but was appropriate for growing it on a bit.
To make a long story short, the pot was shattered in shipping so I took the opportunity to move it into one of my Stone Age stoneware pots, also on the larger side.
