Could I use Japanese cut paste to seal an adenium cut or stick to cinnamon?

From what I understand cinnamon *technically* has fungicidal properties but the efficacy is far less than other horticultural fungicides. Basically can't hurt but also questionable. I would stick with cut paste or allow a period of dryness to let the wounds "callous". Though most succulents, when wounded, will shrink back as they lose water and dry over, I've seen folks use a sealant to prevent this.

I would not use either, but just put it out to dry for a bit, which is the normal way of cutting propagating succulents. Naturally these sort of questions are best asked in a succulents forum or plant propagation forum, rather than a bonsai forum.
