Hello all, I'm hoping I can get a little help and guidance for two of my bonsai.

I'm not new to owning a bonsai but I'm new to actively maintaining and growing and I love it! Although i dont know much an need some help

I have 3 bonsai trees : dwarf yapon holley, a juniper and one other I dont exactly know the name of... anyway my questions start with the holley and juniper. The holley has been brown for a matter on weeks now and I cant seem to get it green again, same with the juniper. I had been thinking they both just got a little too much sun as I used to live in texas but I'm in gorgia now and they have a cozy little place on my balcony: morning sun till about 1 and shade in the afternoon. I'm trying to learn a watering schedule as the air is pretty humid and damn here. I will attach files, I'm not sure what's wrong or is anything is wrong and would love some advice and help! Also the other pic is my 3rd if you know what it is let me know!

Good news and bad news.

Good news, the one you do not know the name of is still alive, and looking healthy. The name is Opercularia decaryi, or Madagascar Elephant bush. Write the name down, and use Opercularia when asking questions about it because there are several unrelated plants that get called "Elephant Bush".

Bad news, your holly and juniper are dead. Sorry, there is no coming back.

The Opercularia decaryi is a opportunistic wet-dry tropical plant. It grows when it gets water, and it goes dormant when it gets too dry. It will grow all year round if you give it sun and warmth and let the soil go from wet to just barely dry, wait one day then water again.. It will tolerate droughts, if droughts only happen once or twice a year. Larger ones will take drought better. I had one with a trunk larger in diameter than my thumb. I would stop watering it in October, set it on a windowsill, and then begin watering again in March or April. Smaller ones are not quite as drought tolerant. If you have a bright window, you can keep watering it all winter and it will grow all winter. They are true tropicals and will not tolerate any frost at all.
