Have any of you ever rafted an Alberta Spruce, and if so any good luck with it?

To answer the question I have not . Do you have a specific tree in mind . That is a good candidate . Considering the work involved and time . It’s wise to consider the material
Choice . For example myself I would try black spruce . Mainly for its thrive In wet soil attributes . The trunk converts itself to root materiel . For arguments sake . But I think it’s prudent to start with something root resistant . Not saying Alberta spruce is not . A example is the Japanese field grow . White pine they often convert trees with reverse taper into raft . This is a good use of material . So is raft the best use of the materiel you have . Or do you just want a raft . Or do you want a Alberta raft . All valid .
