I have been practicing bonsai for over 20 years now, and collecting the whole time, and there seems to be never enough time to do it 100percent correct...a lot of my materials have been gotten during crunch times, personal and site, promising landscape materials yanked out with a chain and pickup truck makes me cringe...is there a timeline, for collecting let's say landscaped materials, that the owner is willing to let go or replace, from root cutting, pruning(for handling purposes) to the final collecting of the materials.
