And here an update as well just for the record ...
The crown seems to be a bit to "twiggy", I mean the branches are very thin.
But there is a huge amount of buds. Next flushing in spring will bring a whole lotta energy into the ramification to thicken the twiggies ...
And for all of the european audience: The tree is for sale. You will rarely find another specimen of Prunus serotina this size with a Kevin Wilson carving ...

Bye, bye, amercan girl ...

Well, the heavy Prunus Serotina decided to leave me.
She is heading for a garden of a well known bonsai-master ...
And again no hard feelings. I am just glad that she found her perfect destination.
The new owner can do more for this specimen than i ever could.

And for the german readers : can anybody help to get the tree from Hamburg to Munich?

I know a couple of guys in Hamburg follow the international bonsai school in Dusseldorf, which would be 1/3 of the way; You could probably organize a bit of benchspace for a bit with Werner?

Maybe the old fellow (?) from down south will have someone visiting for his international school? I was considering going myself, but cannot be * to drive the 9 hours to his place!

And yes, WP's garden is the final destination.

What a wonderful network this bonsai-nut is.
