Animal damage and prevention

I dont kill sentient creatures. And I do look down on those who do
Hopefully you never have to choose between killing a sentient critter and a tree you've been working on for years and/or spent some amount of money on.

You can't talk sense into militant vegans.

Let’s not get into a value/moral system argument here. In this matter mine differs from yours a lot. Since you profess a “look down”, I will tell you that your lofty perch is very shaky. Let’s leave that discussion out of this thread.

@rockm you are right that feeding the wild animals is irresponsible. Feeding raccoons is a terrible idea. I’m sorry you had to deal with that I’ve heard similar stories from friends. My comment didn’t come out right. I simply throw out a couple nuts for the two chipmunks by the door to not mess with my tree’s and it works. But the fact is they will be lucky to live past procreating and can’t spend much time in the open because of the predators around my home. I’d rather let a snake or raptor find my yard a place to hunt. If my rodent problem was worse I’d have to take some out myself. Plus my Manx keeps the premises pretty tight. Her dad was a wild cat luckily she is very sweet with humans.

Ugh, way to be a peacemaker, I haven't had a good internet mudsling in a while
