I want to try my hand at annealing copper wire this weekend. Any recommendation about the gauges of wire I should get from Lowe's?

    Thanks!

I use all gauges from 4 to 20.

    I use 16 and 14 the most.

It's worth knowing how to do. It's easy and I don't always want to buy a big ass roll of wire

Thank you everyone for your answers. I will try to anneal this weekend, and see how it goes. Will post the results!

    Ahem!

Spent a couple hours finishing all my stripped wire.

I must confess to be remiss in my wire-peeling duties

haha Ok, I will get to it. Problem is I got a 25 ft roll! It looks daunting!
