The plan is to plant it out for a while then air root the top bent branch.

Should I trim it back some while it grows out.

I just shook the root ball loose. All the roots go off side ways. And the smaller branch has its own root. I think it must have been ran over a couple of times at the nursery.

I think I am going to plant it leaning over and try and save the extra set of roots. Then cut it loose after it fattens up.

Is this grafting gone very wrong?

Doesn't look grafted,upper branch just grew funky and the lower branch probably touched the soil line n ended up pushing roots from the branch.
