My JBPs again had another good growing season this year. As you can see the candles are looking good and healthy. The biggest JBP ( the one in the center) gave me some worry up until about April as the candles weren't progressing at all like I wanted them to. After last years decandling the new buds never really grew out like they should as the other trees did. I already decandled the big one and left a lot of new growth especially on the bottom and back branches where there has always been a problem. The others will be decandled around the middle of the month.
I'll post them after decandling so you can see what you think.
I'll have to do some serious work on the foliage of the cascade come November because that thing is getting too big for it's britches.
