I am continuing with 20 20 20 until the end of the month then I will switch to 4 19 35 until the autumn.
Probably I will need an hand to shape this as a clump.

Could be roots but also could be an iron or other deficiency

I gave some iron chelate last week and the situation look the same, I am thinking that this branch as a root problem.
For what I know Mugo pine have a direct connection between the branch and the root, the black pine not, so if some root have problems the relative branch have problem, that way some branch have this problem and the other are super green
So I am thinking that can be too much water with a bad soil.
The plant have had a slip repot with the original soi, I just removed a little bit of the old soil because the plant was really very week so I put in a bigger pot with pure pumice.
Probably the difference in substrate and also the old soil give some problem to the roots, I gave root anti fungine ( FOSETIL ALLUMINIUM) and I move the plant under cover so she takes sun but no rain.
We will see next days

Good branch

Winter is almost finished here, the plant are moving so time for a small update.
I made a repot three weeks ago, pruning some long roots and cleaning a lot of the old soil, and used my usual mix in a better pot.
Mis is 30-30-30-10 aka-kiryu-pomice-biochar
Of course no sign of disease in this plat and also in my other plants, so probably the worst is gone. Now there are a lot of buds growing and some really back backbudding.
Time to grow now and I will start thinking about what is better to keep for a clump style.
