Any bonsai clubs in the N. Florida/S. Georgia area?

I will be moving in about a month to Live Oak FL. It is located right between Tallahassee and Jacksonville. I will actually be closer to Valdosta Georgia than either of those cities though.

I have researched and found there are a few clubs in the general area. (within 80 miles)

But I know some clubs are pretty much non existant, some are good and others are great clubs.
I am not neccessarily looking for the closest club, but more of a GOOD bonsai club that may, or may not be farther away.

Can anybody from the area suggest a great club to check out? I belong to two clubs here in PA, and want to join an active club.

Oh, And if you know of any good bonsai nurseries in the area, that would be very helpful, too!

Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Doesn't appear to be anything local in your neck of the woods. Driving wise that is. This website gives a listing of all bonsai clubs in the U.S. Goodluck!

Kawa Bonsai puts on a great show every year, and they seem to have active members. Bunnell sounds like it may be a bit of a drive for you though.

Wish I could help, but I'm in North GA, about a 4 hours drive from Valdosta.
