Any Info on this Bonsai Pot? Thanks!

Found this pot at a thrift shop today. Nothing special, seems to be mass produced. Made in Japan.

Just had a few questions and I'm not the best versed on pottery....yet working on it!

Anyone know around what year/decade this was made?

Maybe some info on what part of Japan it's from?

I can't tell you what year it was made other than it's definitely contemporary. You're right that it's a mass produced pot that's a dime a dozen. It's probably not vitrified, so I'm not sure it would survive a winter outside. I'm also not sure what part of Japan it's made in.

Ah but it will do well on trees that need very good drainage.
We use those types for Serissa s and J.B.pines.
Good purchase.
Good shape.
