Does anyone grow these? Any tips or advice on them? I'm going to try some air layers this spring.

Not yet - but i want to collect one or two. They take partial shade and like damp (they don't like dry roots). They should air layer well enough but their leaves (reducing their size) might be a challenge. There is a closely related species (Sitka Mtn. ash. i believe its called, that grows in the subalpine in the PNW), which naturally has smaller leaves and grows in a more bushy, gnarly form. Might be worth checking out. Cheers.

Looks like those should grow here, I'll have to keep a eye out for some this year.
I have 4 growing in my yard but I don't know what kind. Three are almost weeping with smaller leaves, one is more upright with larger leaves and bigger redder berries.
