Hello all,
Does anyone know if you can use natural aquarium gravel for inorganic soil?

Aquarium gravel size is too big. Go to the feed store and buy a 50# bag of granite grit (layer or turkey).

Heck even by the pound Locally it is 40¢ a pound...

I was just at my local feed store. I believe the full selection is chick, grower, layer, turkey, Going from smallest to largest.

Athens has lotsa college students and rather fewer poultry and bonsai growers. I buy the biggest size they have, as it is available.

The real deal for granite is a gravel (or concrete) mill that pounds its own matrix. Buy it by the ton if ya' can get it.
