Arakawa Main Branch Cutts

Something I should’ve done two years ago is work this cut. It has swelled a bit and I don’t know if there’s anything to be done at this point. The bark along the outer edge of the cut is flexible since there’s nothing underneath it and I may wrap grafting tape around the scar to constrict the bark. Probably not enough to make a difference but worth trying.









The nebari flare is coming along nicely. The tree is now screwed to a board, placed in a grow box and should stay here for at least two years if not three.
