My Arbor Day flowering tree pack came by mail today.

Although a number of these trees are “slated” for “in-ground” planting, I “potted them up” as my certain health issues deem me “immuno-compromised” or “high-risk”, and I’m not sure when I will be able to access the yards in which I planned the planting.

Either way, I thought it would be great to document them here throughout their life. (in-ground as well as in “containerized”)

2 - Sargent Crabapple
2 - Washington Hawthorn
3 - American Redbud
3 - Flowering Dogwood
(For my area)

I'm trying to understand why would those cuttings be bare....everything now is in leaf.

Are you sure they are alive?

Hmm..the roots seemed to be living.. perhaps the “packs” were refrigerated... or there were postal delays... I’ll go scratch ‘em. 😆

(((Update)))

The crab apples have leafed... My youngest, Jasper Kindred, calls this one, “Mr, Krabs”
