hey all!
So master Uzo from maruyama nursery has become quite fond of me, and gave me some nice trees, one of which is the juniper below. I haven't worked with juniper or spruce and I don't know what to do with these two yet. So any input on some ideas is greatly appreciated!

These are average looking nursery trees, not spectacular material- BUT good to learn on! A free tree or two (or twenty) is what most everyone new to Bonsai needs! Something to get used to caring for and to practice on..

If indeed Master Uzo is a Master you have done well grasshopper. Think Mr Miyagi.:D Having Master for friend is great beginning and expect he would not give you junk tree for practice. Time and imagination with guidance can make something of these trees. For now need to develop trunk size and imagine what your idea is to make trees into. At this stage can become anything;).
