New to the forum. Looking to get back into bonsai after several years off. Hoping the group can assist with my comeback.
So I have this collected ashe juniper that's been sitting in a pot for a couple years. I think it's pretty much a literati candidate. I'm struggling to decide which side to cut back for deadwood. The left or right.(1st pic) The left side has less vigorous growth, but seems to be the best side to keep for the foliage, I think. I would appreciate any opinions on the preferred side to keep...or any other advice as to style director. I have posted several other pics as well. Thanks.
