When I lived there, there was only one bonsai show actually in Atlanta- the Atlanta Bonsai Society annual show... definitely worth the trip.


If you're feeling adventurous, the Silhouette show in Kannapolis, NC every December should be on your calendar as well.

The Atlanta show is always the weekend of my son's birthday (mid-March) so I haven't been. The last few years, there's been a show at the NC Arboretum put on by the Blue Ridge Bonsai Society in late-Summer or Early-Fall. Its a good excuse to see the Arboretum's collection too.
