Im curious to see what everybody has for their automatic watering systems. Do you individually water, or have a broadcast spray over the whole garden? How often and when does it come on?

I have a small broadcast spray under my apricot tree for my Japanese maples. It turns on for 3 minutes around sunrise, mid day heat, and late afternoon. Im looking to set up a watering system for all of my full sun species. Which is also in the garden area with the veggies. Im thinking a full broadcast might be best.

Yeah...to the fungal.

I had to setup a "vacation" system and have used it for 2 years now. Just under $50ish for the timer and 3 "portable rain" heads with hose.

Happy to not use it this year though, in a 1 summer spot, I'll be hand watering again.

Back to precision.

Sounds like your rig will fungatize a maple.

I setup automatic sprinkler only when I travel. I have traveled for 6 weeks and all my tree was fine.
