Grimberian
Seedling
Hi Everyone,
I've got a couple of trees that I am working on as bonsai (a couple bought, a couple that we bought as shrubs etc from garden centres) so still very much on a learning journey!
I bought myself some seeds - JBP, Wisteria and Sakura - online the other day and I'm curious about timings for planting them. I'm aware seeds will probably not make good bonsai in my lifetime, maybe my kids, but I wanted to see the process from scratch.
Early spring is supposed to be the best time for seedlings from what I have read so far, but is it possible to get them to germinate indoors through autumn and winter so they have a head start in spring and summer next year?
I suppose what I am saying is should I think about planting any now, or just stick them in the fridge until February?
Cheers!
