azalea pest! please help!

the first image is the top of the leaf and the second is the bottom. There are little black and white furry insects... please help! sorry about the poor quality of the photos

sorry it is so big but that is what it looks like. i had a friend take a look at it and he pretty confidently identified it as lace bug. anybody know how i can get rid of it?

Definately lacebug damage. They LOVE azaleas. I've used ortho systemic and sevin effectively.

Bayer Tree and Shrub systemic works well too.

But don't panic. Lacebugs don't kill otherwise healthy azaleas. Any pyrethrin spray will easily take care of them.
