Things are looking great since I pinched about 3/4 weeks ago. First time I’ve pinched this tree. The heat from last week was a concern but it seems to have handled it just fine with the exception of just a couple small brown tips.

Personally feel this pot is much more appropriate for the tree than the rock/slab. I think it will look great in that rectangle!
Agreed and with all those recent wild collected trees, that slab/rock will be very appropriate!

T
you do great work on these conifers.
I think its more suited to the eggshell tho, great tree! Time will tell
Thanks Bobby. Really happy with this tree. At this point after next years repot I’m mostly in refinement. Though some branches need some thickening. The trick will be to allow the foliage to push thickening while keeping the tree tight. I also need to refine the Shari more next season.

Need to get a decent setup again, but I wanted to get a simple capture of this tree after a recent repot. Chose the Dave Lowman egg shell pot and I’m thrilled with the look. It sat in that Anderson flat for 2 years and produced some excellent root growth. I’ll let it rest for just a bit then will rewire and trim. I may also Jin a few more branches as well. Sometime in may.

Check that. I need a decent PHOTO SETUP again. I just moved and photographing with a stucco background just isn’t cutting it.
