Depending on what the nebari looks like to it (they might be all fused together), you could possibly split them up, maybe split the farthest ones on the right first this year and let the clump recuperate till next year, and keep repeating that up till you have four or five clumps to work with! but for now maybe clear out alot of the dead stuff unless you think it would add interest in the longer scheme of things. but certainly there might be something worth while in there hiding, just up to you to pull it out!
