Actually see them listed under several different names but would like to purchase one that blooms yellow flowers.
Looking for a starter, young perhaps a foot or so tall. They grow fast but are on the short lived side so a younger healthy plant is preferred -

Thanks in advance

Hey Grimmy, not sure if this is of much help but I was searching around and if you have no luck finding one it looks as if Lowes stock a bunch of Acacias if that is of any use to you and there is this place too that sell both trees and seeds http://www.australianplants.com/about.aspx which may be an option too.
No baileyana in there but they are all the yellow blooming type similar to it.

They do grow fairly fast from seed if you give them the proper pre-treatment and one thing I am noticing is they tend to harden off quite quickly, I have one that is about a year old from seed and it really is good to get some movement in the trunk early on as once it has barked up I wouldn't like my chances of bending it much.

Just a thought anyway, good luck and hope you can find one.
