last summer

Now after spring repot, chopped the tall whip back and carved the tip a bit, may chop it shorter depending what happens with the new growth


Already been removing some unneeded buds and branches that were forming. Now just planning to let it go for the summer and revisit after more woody branches form. Tis is year three on this one for me. The top pics I posted last year for @Native Tree12

Is there a reason it is potted off centre?

I thought it looked better off center, I plan to develop the two branches on the left side of the photo and leave the right kind of sparse. And personally I don't like stuff centered. It looks too planned to me. I might need room for Swamp Thing or a Gator.
