I am visiting San Francisco in August or September. What are the best spots to visit within an hour or so of SF? Any events going on at that time? Thanks

Bonsai Garden at Lake Merrit in Oakland, REBS Show in Santa Rosa the last weekend in august (largest in Norcal), tons of nurseries including Lone Pine in Sebastopol. Seriously try to make it to the REBS show; http://www.rebsbonsai.org/
