Almost too short, really
. I'm still dialing in my double flush pine work/timing here in the frozen north, and truthfully, I've pushed all my JBP hard over the last 4-5 years, de-candling yearly, since they seemed vigorous enough. I even de-candled 7-10 days earlier this past summer than I did the year before, and the needles are still fully 50% shorter. Anyway, I suspect only the most vigorous growers will get de-candled next year.
