I've heard pretty good things about this product for protecting against pest. I'm going to purchase the liquid concentrate of this product but I'm trying to find out the correct safe dosage per gallon of water to apply to tropical bonsai's.
Thanks

I use this on the junipers that I have growing in the ground. I have not tried it on my Bonsai trees. It works on so many things that I would be interested if you do find out what the dosage would be. I imagine it depends also on soil type. Mine is pretty coarse and drains fast. It may not work because it would wash out pretty quickly.

I used it on all my trees last season. All lived.

I used it as well as others I know, It works well. We use the pellitized though.

Go to the Bayer site, they should have the info. Why don't you?? It's all on the label. Sharing a bottle maybe??

I've done some research and I did go on the Bayer site before posting on the forum and it said for a 1 gallon container plant 1 teaspoon per gallon but I did a search on here and found this post from a few years ago and that post says to use 3 tablespoons per gallon of water. http://bonsainut.com/forums/showthread.php?1071-Systemic-pesticides&highlight=BAYER
I've contacted a bonsai nursery and they said to go with 2 tablespoons per gallon of water. So I guess I'll go by that information.

I would use what Bayer says vs others opinions. This type of thing is well researched by the mfgs. use as directed.
