Either way to want to do it. You can make a clump from suckers, or fuse trees together.
If you want to see some good growth find a good spot in your yard and plant them in the ground above a tile or board. You can lightly train them while in the ground.I’ve recently got 3 Japanese beauty berrys . I’m understand that it’s gonna take a long time to develop them but I like seeing trees develop ! So what should I do to start to develop these ?

Very nice !!! If you put it into a very small pot you can achieve the Japanese shohin style that I like . I’ve recently just got 10 rooted cuttings that I will be developing into nice shohin in the future along with 5 others I have. I’m definitely gonna be propagating tons of Japanese beautyberry because I love them ! Thanks ...I keep it in full sun, only had it for like 2-3 months or so and it was very well cared by the previous owner. I just gave it a trim and took those pics afterward, cant wait till the winter when it just have berries and no foliage.Do you keep this is full or partial sun? Looks great!
