Beauty Berry Styling

A friend gave me a beautyberry air layer and it was very much growing every which way. I decided to braid it with grafting tape and wired up the entire thing. Making trunk and branches from nothing. Hoping it'll fuse.

Interesting. I was looking at one in my yard yesterday and wondered if it would ramify into a decent tree. I like the braiding approach. Looking forward to more posts!

I’ve been looking at doing the same style of “hopeful trunk fusion” on a few smaller sized beauty berries, any luck/updates on this one?
