Can't argue with the price, so if you think you can do anything with it, go for it.
I would almost say cut away the big trunk completely and just keep that little broken one. Maybe even break it again if you think it will survive it.

I'm about 85% sure that's a hemlock, bark looks right too.

Pretty sure it’s tsuga. Bark definitely lines up. It’ll need a lot of bending, but that’s a chance to learn so..

Still not sure if it’s a Yew or Not the guy didn’t know ... it was growing under Tsuga but it had green needles and the ones taller were a blue hue ... that what 6 gauge or 4 copper wire is for my friend....

The under side of the leaf will give you a definite answer. As far as what species... that’s harder with tsuga. I know our state tree has a lot of cultivars in the landscape trade but maybe other species do too

Getting it this weekend , I’m only going to wire the branches down into a nice slender apex /silhouette .So when I’m styling I’m gonna have to potion the pot it will stay in during wiring...Going to cut the longer trunk off, reposition it in spring into this position... might bend trunk up or down a little bit depending how it looks in person.

Please know that if it is a Hemlock, and I think that it is, back-budding is nearly impossible. Choose your cuts carefully.
