I have ONE more spot on my balcony for a tree, I prefer deciduous, but would be okay with an evergreen. The problem is, it's going to be a pretty low light area, it will get 2 maybe 3 hours of morning sunlight every day, otherwise it will be in the shade.

Since you are in 10a, a ficus or dwarf schefflera would work if you can move it indoors on the rare occasions when freezing temperatures occur.

Both answers are good but I would say any hornbeam and some maples. Of course azalea, rhodies, blueberries, pieris and just about all Ericaceae.
