beware the Woodlouse...or not?

I'm not sure if this is universal, but in central Ohio I find that under each of my pots lies a small colony of woodlice/pill bugs and a fine layer of what is probably thier droppings. Should I be concerned about this? I have my pots and grow boxes on treated wood & cinder block benches; should I spray them every few months with some kind of pesticide to keep these critters away or are they fairly harmless?

They feed off dead/decaying wood, so there is no risk for your trees as long as they are alive.
