Since I cannot find the thread where I first posted this, I figured I would start a new one. It was time for a late summer trim for Big foot.

This is the time of year when knees grow the most and the trunk really bulks up.

Once in a while I see a well protected matured BC down here. Yours look like one. They are rare down here in hurricane ravaged area. They are more prevalent in North Louisiana areas.

The stars aligned and I'm seeing some decent fall color this year. Here's the big guy:

You may have covered before but is the cage to keep the squirrels out?

The squirrels like to chew on the knees, l got tiered of shooting them...

Not yet, and we now have a yard cat, he finds them to be tasty. Which they are, with rice and gravy.
